How do you handle emergency technical issues?

Our incident response protocol ensures rapid resolution of critical issues:

  1. Prompt Acknowledgment: Critical incidents are acknowledged per the response targets defined in your SLA
  2. Severity Assessment: Issues are categorized by business impact to ensure appropriate prioritization
  3. Specialist Assignment: Problems are routed to the appropriate technical specialist based on the issue type
  4. Regular Updates: Stakeholders receive consistent communication throughout the resolution process
  5. Root Cause Resolution: We address both immediate symptoms and underlying causes
  6. Post-Incident Analysis: Comprehensive review to prevent recurrence and improve future response

For true emergencies, critical (severity-1) issues follow the 24/7 response commitments defined in your SLA, with escalation paths to senior engineers and management. Standard business-hours support otherwise follows Bitscaled's published hours (see Contact).

Our proactive monitoring runs continuously and is designed to detect and resolve many issues before they impact your business operations.

We provide detailed security posture assessments with actionable remediation plans as part of our onboarding process.

How is your pricing structured? What can we expect to invest?

Recurring managed services are quoted using the same tier model we publish on our Pricing page: Essential, Professional, and Enterprise. The on-page estimate uses managed users, workstations, servers, and after-hours coverage — aligned with how we scope real proposals.

  • Essential: Baseline managed support and core recurring scope (see included-scope table on Pricing).
  • Professional: Expands backup, security, on-site, and after-hours scope versus Essential.
  • Enterprise: Adds advisory, compliance-oriented touchpoints, and deeper security stack options (for example MDR / SOC / SIEM as add-on scope where needed).

One-time onboarding, remediation, and project work are scoped separately from recurring managed services — the calculator and FAQ on the Pricing page describe what recurring estimates include.

For a detailed quote tailored to your environment, schedule a consultation with our team.

What ROI can we expect from working with Bitscaled?

Return on investment depends on your baseline, industry, and which problems we are solving first (security, uptime, compliance, or operational efficiency). We do not publish guaranteed percentage outcomes — those would be misleading without a controlled baseline.

Most engagements aim to improve outcomes such as:

  • Predictable operations: Fewer surprise outages and clearer ownership when issues occur
  • Risk reduction: Layered security practices and monitoring aligned to your environment
  • Better cost visibility: Recurring managed scope vs one-time project work, documented in proposals (see also Pricing)
  • Access to breadth: A team model vs hiring for every specialty internally

During onboarding we align on meaningful metrics for your business and review progress in regular business reviews. Ask us for references or sample reporting formats during sales.

Are there any hidden fees in your pricing plans?

No, Bitscaled is committed to transparent pricing with no hidden fees. Our service agreements clearly outline:

  • What's Included: All services, features, and support covered by your monthly fee
  • What's Excluded: Any services that may incur additional charges
  • Third-Party Costs: Transparent pass-through of any required third-party licensing or services
  • Project Work: Clear definition of what constitutes out-of-scope project work

All potential additional charges are discussed and approved before implementation. We provide detailed monthly invoices that itemize all services and third-party costs so you always know exactly what you're paying for.

Note: Recurring managed services are separate from one-time onboarding, remediation, or project work — see the Pricing page for how recurring scope is presented vs discovery-scoped work.

How often do your prices change?

Recurring rates, renewal timing, and how changes are communicated are defined in your executed agreement — we do not publish one-size-fits-all rules on this site.

  • Rate stability: Many engagements lock recurring pricing for an agreed term; length and exceptions are in the contract
  • Renewals: Adjustments are usually discussed at renewal or when scope changes materially
  • Notice: Any change process (including notice windows) follows the terms you sign, not a generic FAQ number
  • Public estimates: The interactive figures on Pricing reflect current published inputs; your quote may differ based on discovery and scope

Ask your Bitscaled contact for the latest standard terms if you are evaluating a new engagement or renewal.

What payment methods do you accept?

Available payment methods and terms depend on credit, geography, procurement rules, and what is written in your agreement. Commonly used options include:

  • ACH / bank transfer: Often used for recurring managed services
  • Card payments: Where enabled for your account
  • Wire or check: Sometimes used for project invoices or when required by your AP process

Larger or regulated buyers may also use:

  • Procurement / PO-based invoicing where agreed
  • Net terms (for example Net-30) when approved in writing
  • Quarterly or annual billing cadence when contracted

Your onboarding or billing contact confirms what applies to your tenant — this FAQ does not override executed payment terms.

Do you offer any discounts on your services?

Commercial terms (including prepayment, multi-year commitments, or bundled scope) vary by engagement and are documented in your proposal — we do not publish a universal discount grid on the website.

  • Term and billing cadence: Annual or multi-year agreements may be available depending on credit, scope, and eligibility
  • Scaling footprint: As users, workstations, and servers change, quotes update using the same factors shown on Pricing
  • Qualified sectors: Where applicable, we discuss programs for non-profit or education clients during sales
  • Bundled scope: Combining services can reduce overlap and implementation friction — reflected in the scoped proposal

Ask your solutions consultant what applies to your organization; nothing on this page overrides a signed agreement.

How does pricing scale as our team grows?

Recurring estimates scale with managed users, workstations, servers, and after-hours coverage — the same factors shown on our Pricing page.

  • Simple scaling: Quote inputs can be adjusted as headcount and device counts change
  • Tier-consistent scope: Essential, Professional, and Enterprise keep recurring inclusions predictable while quantities change
  • Quote updates: As managed users, workstations, servers, or after-hours needs change, the recurring estimate is revised using the same factors as the Pricing calculator
  • Discovery-based items: Multi-site, compliance-heavy, onboarding, and other complex requirements are scoped separately
  • No hidden bundling: One-time onboarding, remediation, and project work are quoted separately from recurring managed services

For the latest live estimate, use the pricing calculator and then request a scoped proposal for final numbers.

What are your contract terms and cancellation policies?

Contract length, renewal, notice periods, and termination mechanics are defined in your executed service agreement — they can vary by client size, risk, compliance needs, and procurement rules.

  • Common patterns: Many clients use annual or multi-year terms; others use month-to-month recurring managed services where that is explicitly agreed in writing
  • Non-renewal / termination: Notice windows and any early-termination considerations are spelled out in the agreement — ask for the current template during sales
  • SLAs: Response targets for support severity levels are aligned to your plan and documented in the agreement or an SLA exhibit
  • Transition: We plan an orderly handoff when services end, scoped to what the contract requires

The FAQ cannot replace your contract. If you need a specific policy (for example auto-renew or notice days), request the latest standard terms from your Bitscaled contact.

How do you handle custom service requirements that may affect pricing?

Standard recurring managed services are described in tier-aligned scope on our Pricing page; anything beyond that is scoped and quoted separately.

We use a structured approach to custom requirements:

  1. Requirements Analysis: We begin with a thorough assessment of your specific needs that fall outside our standard service packages
  2. Custom Solution Design: Our team develops a tailored solution architecture specifically for your requirements
  3. Transparent Cost Breakdown: We provide detailed pricing that clearly shows:
    • Standard service components and their costs
    • Custom components with itemized pricing
    • Any third-party costs or licenses required
    • Implementation fees versus ongoing costs
  4. Multiple Options: When possible, we present different approaches with varying cost/benefit tradeoffs
  5. Scalability Planning: We address how costs will change as your usage or user count grows

Common customizations that affect pricing include:

  • Industry-specific compliance requirements (healthcare, financial, etc.)
  • Enhanced security beyond standard offerings
  • Custom application support for proprietary systems
  • Non-standard hardware or specialized equipment
  • Extended support hours or expedited response times
  • Integration with unique business systems

All custom pricing elements are fully documented in the service agreement with no surprises after signing.

How do your pricing plans compare to hiring internal IT staff?

Many organizations compare fully loaded internal IT headcount to managed services. Actual numbers depend on your market, headcount, stack, and scope — use the Pricing estimator for Bitscaled recurring totals rather than relying on illustrative math in a FAQ.

Cost ConsiderationInternal IT StaffBitscaled MSP Services
Personnel Costs
  • Salary and payroll burden (varies widely by role and region)
  • Benefits and employer taxes
  • Hiring, backfill, and ongoing training
Recurring fee structured in your quote (not a direct salary line item)
Expertise BreadthLimited to individuals' knowledge areasAccess to a team with diverse specialties
CoverageLimited by working hours, vacation, and sick timePooled coverage model; exact hours and SLAs follow your plan and agreement
Tools & SystemsOften additional spend for monitoring, security, and management toolingTooling aligned to included scope in your tier (see Pricing included-scope tables)

Beyond simple cost lines, buyers often weigh:

  • Elimination of knowledge gaps and single points of failure
  • Reduced management overhead and HR responsibilities
  • Access to enterprise-grade tools otherwise unaffordable
  • Scalability without hiring/firing cycles
  • Faster issue resolution with specialized expertise

Many organizations adopt a co-managed model: keep strategic internal IT roles while using an MSP for depth, coverage, and tooling — especially as environments grow in complexity.

What are your support hours and response times?

Support availability follows your signed agreement and aligns with the recurring managed scope in your tier (see Pricing for how Essential, Professional, and Enterprise differ on items like after-hours and on-site coverage).

  • Standard business-hours support: Typically Monday–Friday during agreed local business hours (exact hours are confirmed in onboarding)
  • After-hours coverage: Recurring after-hours scope is included where your plan and quote specify it — it is a quote input on the Pricing page
  • Critical (severity-1) incidents: P1 handling targets are defined in your SLA; 24/7 response applies to qualifying critical issues per that SLA, not to every ticket type

Response targets are set by issue severity in your SLA and can vary by engagement, so this FAQ intentionally defers exact response-time numbers to your signed documents.

Our automated monitoring systems operate continuously, often detecting and resolving issues proactively before they impact your business.

How do we submit support requests and track their progress?

We provide multiple channels for submitting and tracking support requests:

  • Workspace: Secure web-based portal at workspace.bitscaled.tech with:
    • Ticket creation and real-time status tracking
    • Historical ticket data and resolution information
    • Knowledge base articles and self-help resources
    • Asset inventory and performance metrics
  • Email Support: Submit tickets directly to support@bitscaled.tech
  • Phone Support: Direct access to our service desk at +1 (813) 419-0419
  • Other channels: Where enabled for your tenant, we may support additional workflows (for example chat or collaboration-tool integrations) — confirmed during onboarding

All support channels integrate with our central ticketing system, ensuring consistent tracking and documentation regardless of submission method.

Where included in your agreement, account leadership may provide reporting on ticket volumes and trends to help identify improvement opportunities.

How quickly can you respond to IT issues?

We triage every request by impact and severity. Support coverage windows and how critical issues are prioritized are described in the list under What are your support hours and response times? above — exact response-time values are documented in your executed SLA, which takes precedence if it differs.

Across engagements we also emphasize:

  • Proactive monitoring: Where in scope, we work to detect issues early
  • Clear escalation: Critical issues follow the P1 path defined in your agreement
  • Transparent communication: Status updates through the workspace ticket thread where applicable

Performance against SLA targets is reviewed with you in business reviews; ask your Bitscaled contact for a sample report format.
